About Thomas Zimmerman

Tom teaches English and directs the Writing Center at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ. He also edits The Huron River Review and The Big Windows Review as well as serving as faculty advisor of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Poetry Club.

He has been teaching at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ since 1992. He was a high school English teacher in the 1980s and early 1990s. He lives in Ann Arbor with his wife and a retired racing greyhound.

Over 700 of Tom's poems have appeared n small literary publications.

He is also the author of nine poetry chapbooks.

Tom has co-written articles and published a monograph on Arab women writers with Wijdan Alsayegh.
